Hi,
My daughter, Leah and I met, you and Megan, several months ago, in the waiting room, at advanced radiology. She was having a CT and I was having an MRI. Your beautiful daughter, really touched us and she had even given us, one of her yellow bracelets to keep. I was really saddened, to just read of your loss, in the Times paper. We only met her, for that short time, but what an inspiration she was and still is! I am so sorry, that we had never had a chance to leave a message on her blog before. I think that I had told you, about our little guy, who has special needs and alot of health problems and he has been sick alot. He is actually inpatient at Hopkins, rightnow(day 15), recovering from a respiratory illness. We will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. We will be looking forward, to reading more stories/blogs about your ^^warrior princess^^!!

Love,
Terri

todays memorial was so amazing. i think many people are finally at ease with megan passing. although its never going to be easy, and i dont think the pain will ever go away, people are always going to remember megan as an amazing person. the pictures and stories we heard today we’re absolutly amazing. hearing people telling stories about her and the impact shes made on people willl forever be in our hearts. mrs.joanne, you were so strong. i didnt see you cry once, although im sure you wanted too. i wanted to hug you and just tell you that im sorry. but i didnt think i could hold myself together for that. thanks for being so strong. you’re truely amazing and megan took after you. i look at you and see megan. i love you mrs.joanne, and i love megan too!

I am so sorry for your loss. You stated in your recent blog that you still feel like a Mother, you will always be a Mother however now instead of caring for your daughters physical being you will care for her memory. The blogs, Videos and updates revealed tremendous strength and grace on behalf of Megan and yourself. Never giving up hope. Megan’s story is an inspiration to many. I did not know you or your daughter however became aware of Megan through a friend. Megan will live on forever through her family, friends and you. May God and Peace be with you.
