Thursday, 12/10/09, Meg, Uncle GG & I left the house at 9:30am for Meg’s weekly appointment at Children’s Hospital in DC. It was a bright sunny day, but cold. Meg was feeling much better than she had felt the night before. She said that she wanted to sit in the front passenger seat. This was a [...]
Tuesday, 12/8/09, was a blessed day. Meg didn’t feel too bad. She chilled and fiddled on her computer for a while. We just enjoyed the quiet and comfort of our house. Our neighbor, Jody K, made a gourmet dinner, chock full of good stuff for Meg, and she joined us for dinner, as did Uncle [...]
Meg was very sick from Sunday, 11/22/09, through Thursday, 12/3/09. She had pain in her head, neck and teeth, with severe nausea. We believe that she was dehydrated, too. Unfortunately, Meg was not feeling well for the GT fundraiser on Monday, 11/30/09. She was only able to attend for a very short time. Anyone who was [...]
I am sorry to not have blogged for a week. Megan has been very ill. The last I blogged was Thursday night, 11/19. Meg was quiet and not herself on Friday and Saturday. She attended a fundraiser for Jake Armacost on Saturday night, with Uncle GG and Aunt Loretta. She told me that it was [...]

I’m forcing myself to blog tonight. I’m pooped. Friday morning, 11/13/09, I was at GBMC. Jer, Gary, Loretta & Meg headed to National Children’s [...]

I had my thyroid removed, but put off the radioactive iodine treatment, because it required that I remain in isolation for several days. There really hasn’t been a [...]
A lot has happened since our last blog. I’m not even sure where to begin… In our last detailed blog, we explained to everyone that Meg had been having pain in her teeth, jaw and head. We planned on taking her for a CT scan of her sinus, an xray of her wisdom teeth and [...]
Meg’s headaches have been bad. We were unable to travel to California today as scheduled, for Meg’s MRI and 3rd and final vaccine. We are working on scheduling an MRI at Johns Hopkins today or tomorrow. We NEED the power of PRAYER. Please pass the word to everyone you know to pray for Megan. G-D [...]
Sunday, after returning from Meg’s 2nd vaccine trip…was a chillin’ day. We did laundry and relaxed and played with the dogs and cat. Sunday night, Meg told us that her teeth hurt and that progressed into a headache. It was rough. She was very uncomfortable. We gave her Motrin, in addition to her steroid, and [...]
